The noise level from adjoining rooms was disturbing!!! The lack of soundproofing is a major drawback. There needs to be better control over the air conditioning, as it felt stuffy at times!!!

The staff were accommodating! They even arranged a 4:30 am taxi for us. Our room wasvery comfy and tidy, with great air-conditioning and a lovely bathroom.

It's a good hotel, it's up to expectations. Staff is very helpful, breakfasts on solid 4, linen and towels were changed every day, not all 4 ok, location is excellent, to the Duomo - 10 minutes leisurely step.
Soundproofing is not good, and noisy when the windows are open.

Just a short walk from the train station and Duomo. The breakfast spread made mornings enjoyable. Minor street noise from tourists, but nothing that ruined our vibes.

A nice, simple and clean hotel that offers a great location near major tourist sites. The breakfast options were excellent with a variety of pastries and fruits. The wifi connection was inconsistent, and the bed setup could be more comfortable with less separation between the mattresses. Perfect for a short stay.

The location is convenience - near to the train station and close to all sites. It takes about 7 minutes walk from the train station to the hotel, cannot imagine dragging our suitcases on the stone street further than this distance. Two nice gentlemen at the front desk remind us what Italy gentlemen in the movie, added on romantic flavor to our vacation. The bathroom is fancy with good finishing on marble floor and marble walls. The hotel is very detail oriented, care for every little thing such as decor.
WiFi is only in the lobby. But it seemed that most of the hotels we travelled in Italy had no WiFi in the rooms.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh fruit and pastries. We will certainly retur.n to Hotel City when we visit Florence again
